You can all stop sending me links to rogue patch repositories that you found via Google. ;) I didn't want to be putting patches from strangers on my system, but the patch in particular has no binary code so I took the leap and used one. I looked it over, and all though I didn't look at all of the thousands of lines of the installpatch script, I don't feel too worried. I had a few kind offers from people with CD0 in their possession to either snail mail the real thing or make an image available. Thanks for the offer, but the workaround of manually supplying the kernel path was enough to get around that. However, the interesting piece of information I did get was to look for that particular CDROM with Solaris 2.6 release media. (I didn't go as far as going back to look myself.) We're still digging for the last 2.5.1 recommended patch cluster we can find. No one offered any hope that I was going to actually discover these things hidden somewhere in the Oracle support site. Oh, SunSolve, I never knew how good we had it. On 2/21/2011 at 4:44 PM, "Crist Clark" <Crist.Clark@globalstar.com> wrote: > I'm trying to bring an old 240R to life running Solaris > 2.5.1. Yes.
