Original request is for dumping multiple-partitions
onto a single exabite tape(for Solaris 2.2).
All responses said the same thing: use /dev/rmt/0n for -f option.
Following is the part of the script that works fine for us :
for i in /usr /var ....
/usr/sbin/ufsdump ${1}ubdsf 112 54000 13000 /dev/rmt/0n $i
where the argument ( ${1} ) is the dump-level.
