Does anyone know if there are any mail reflectors out there that one
could send mail to in order to test outgoing mail for non-local sites.
Essentially, I am reconfiguring sendmail to rewrite the outgoing
headers and I would like to be able to send mail someplace that would
automatically return the mail with the header so that I can examine
it.

There were several suggestions:
1) get an account at remote site and put in a .forward file ( not
practical for me )
2) send mail to: user@your.local.address@some.foreign.address ( does not work )
ie: the mail bounces as an invalid message - I guess it is returned, but not really what I had in mind.
3) send mail to: user%your.local.address@some.foreign.address ( BINGO !! )
