compiling XV-3.01 under 2.3, SUMMARY

Thanks to Hal Pomeranz <pomeranz@tfs.com> for giving me a working
Makefile, xv.h and xcmap.c. I wasn't far off it myself :) (missed
by _that_ much :) )

If anyone wants a copy of the (re-hacked to work with a vanilla
2.3 install) lot, let me know, and I'll MIME, or tar&feather
it out to anyone who's interested.
