Believe it or not - the "MAIL" service MAY NOT be set to "accept" in dniserver.conf -
it MUST be set to "nocaccept". Mail reception will work with "noaccept". Unfortunately
disabling and enabling of other services (login, FAL) work as expected (accept for FAL
enables FAL). It would be great to have a look at the Source Code of dniserver :-)

Hi Managers,
I'm running SunLink DNI 8.0 and want to configure a DECnet Mail Gateway.
MAIL is set to accept in dniserver.conf.
What happens: dniserver can't start a dnimaild - when i start dnimaild
standalone (dnimaild -s) my mailhost accepts DECnet Mail (haven't tried
to send more then one mail at once to this configuration:-)
DNI-8.0 was installed the following way:
1) SUNWdniCU from CD
2) SUNWdniKR from Patch 101856-02
3) SUNWdniMA from CD
4) Patch 101458-03
5) Reboot
Every attempt from dniserver to start a dnimaild ends with "ACCEPT FAILED"
from dnimaild.
Anyone seen that ? Anyone solved that ?
thanks
