Hello All,
I would like to thank the following for their help:
Tim Evans tkevans@eplrx7.es.dupont.com
David R. Courtade drc@amherst.com
Casper Dik casper@holland.Sun.COM
Dr. Micheal Albert albert@esther.rad.tju.edu
Robert Fulwiler bobf@psa.pencom.com
Rasana P. Atreya Rasana.Atreya@library.ucsf.edu
Roger B.A. Klorese rogerk@veritas.com
I also got a very polite request to post this type of thing to the SAMBA
mailing list, not sun-managers. Sorry to anyone I inconveniced.
It turns out that Solaris FAQ had the answer - more or less - and
dealt with the 'fixincludes'. I hadn't checked the Solaris FAQ because
I was sure it wasn't a Solaris problem :).
Anyway, It was a problem with how I was accessing GCC, which was via
an NFS mount. The way I had it mounted only gave me access to the
executables, not the includes, so GCC was confused/using the Solaris
includes.
My orginal posting:
