A big thank you to everyone that responded to my question. There were many varied
responses.
As it turns out the problem was with the fddi cable. The box was scheduled to
be moved, and in doing this, it now uses a different fddi cable. The box has
not dropped off of the network since the move.
Thanks again, this mailing list has proven to be a great learning tool for me
in the short time I have been a subscriber.
