heah... I got things solved anyway.. Thanks for all the suggestions!
Original post will follow.... But I solved the problem by installing
patch 101784-04 SunOS 4.1.3_U1 rpc.lockd/rpc.statd jumbo patch. This
annoying message then just stopped....
