Original question:
------------------
I have a Howtek D4000 scanner connected via SCSI to an IPX running Solaris 2.4
and each time the station boots there are SCSI errors like:
WARNING: /sbus@1,f8000000/esp@0,8000000 (esp0)
Target 4 didn't disconnect after sending COMMAND COMPLETE
Explanation/Fix:
----------------
The scanner does not support SCSI disconnect commands. Either get a scanner
which does, or disable SCSI disconnects in the kernel by adding a line to
/etc/system ( however this could have big performance penalties) :
set scsi_options & ~0x8
