I have finally soved this problem by buying a new Sun CDROM Unipack -
It seems that the original Sun CDROM drive cannot read all CDROMs that
Sun as sending out now.
(I also installed a later kernel Jumbo Patch at the same time as the
new CDROM but I think it was the new drive which fixed it.)
