I was having a problem with printing using samba and like I thought I did
something stupid. I forgot to put a printcap file in /etc. Below is my
smb.conf that works great now.

workgroup="Your Workgroup"
hostallow=199.129.68.
preservecase=true
security=share
winssupport=yes
printing=sysv
load printers=yes
[printer name]
path=/tmp
browseable=yes
printable=yes
public=yes
writable=no
create mode=0700
