You need to run quotacheck -a[v] to update the quota files. This has to
be done as root.
The v switch is optional but if present gives you a little info on whats
going on, add d if you want to get a crap-load of debug info thrown at
you.

Original question:
_______________
Hi
I'm configuring my machines to use quota.
When I use quota -v I get this:
Filesystem usage quota limit timeleft files quota limit timeleft
/export/home 606 40000 50000 120 0 0
But with du i have this:
2976 luciano
The values of du and quota (usage) are the same when the machine start, but
if I include a file, the value of quota stay wrong.
