Hello!!
Thanks for all that have responsed. The problem was caused by missing a /etc/shells file which specify the path to the bash shell or any non-standard shell.

I am running a system with Solaris 2.5.1. It is having problems with users FTP in.
When a user tries to FTP in, it prompts for the users login. No matter what the user type, it will tell the user that User <username> access denied.
This happens to every user and from any host. I am suspecting this is a configuration problem.
I would appreciate if anyone can suggest me some ways to diagnose and fix this problem.
