Thanks to all who replied. Most answers addressed obvious problems that a
rookie might miss. In this case however the correct answer came from
Paramasivam, Meenakshisundaram with his reply:
This happens when the fonts dir (75dpi) is not in its usual place, probably
by a 3rd party s/w installation.
This was the case for us. THe installation for a third party software was
not properly performed and the font dir was missplaced.
--------------- Original message -----------------------
Good morning,
We have just received a SUN Enterprise 250 with Solaris 2.6. When I attempt
to run a GUI interface for the license manager for a product I am
installing, I receive the following message:
Error: Can't open display:0
I set xhost + but receive the same results. Can someone tell me what we
forgot to install when we setup the box?
Thanks
