Question:
How do I determine the memory configuration of a 450?
The answer is :
/usr/platform/sun4u/sbin/prtdiag -v
or more generically
/usr/platform/`uname -i`/sbin/prtdiag -v
Tom Schmidt also pointed me to his memconf perl script available from
his website :
http://netnow.micron.net/~tschmidt/unix.html ( I took the liberty to
attach it to this summary )
And he quite rightly mentioned that "This is also listed in the
SunManagers FAQ."
I apologize for the waste of bandwidth. I should lave looked there
first, and then
at the sun-manager archives at http://www.LaTech.edu/sunman-search.html.
