Thanks all for the answers.
The solution is (which I must say that was pointed before by
Marina.Daniels@cs.tas.gov.au less than a month ago):
Get a March 98 CD or later. Support for Ultra 5 (PCI arquitecture)
was not included in older installation CDs.
