The easiest way to do this is to get Sun's recommended cluster of
patches,
and/or all the patches that you need above and beyond the cluster, and
then use the command:
patchadd -C /jumpstart/Solaris_2.6/Tools/Boot -M
/var/tmp/2.6_Recommended patch_order
Make sure to add any additional patches you place in the patch directory
to your patch_order list.
After this the patches will be applied directly to your install image.
The only real difference you should see when you
jumpstart your next client is the screen output during a jumpstart will
say it is applying patches to the system.
