hi Everybody,
Thanks for the replies. I got a number of replies.
But the one which solved the problem is as:
Try giving IP address of the system in
/etc/hostname.le0
Once this is done the gets solved.
thank you all once again
My query was as following:
hi everybody,
I am facing a problem.
On my sunsparc 10, 4m arch. I am having solaris 8
installed. Now my network interface is getting
assigned an IP address. Whenever i boot this system
its saying can't assign IP address. I have given
entries in /etc/hosts, netmask & created
/etc/hostname.le0 also. when i check it with ifconfig
it shows only 127.0.0.1 but not accepting
theIPaddress.
Can anybody suggest me what i should do to
makethisworking.
thanks in advance
cheers
