Had problems installing Solaris 8, said "Format of Disk c0t0d0 failed".
Thanks to Kevin M. Korb, carl@bl.echidna.id.au and Timothy Lorenc,
who suggested booting from the "Solaris 8 Software 1 of 2" disk
instead of the "Install" disk, using:
ok boot cdrom
which in my case was something like "boot /pci@1f/..." since I was
using an external CDROM connected to controller 1.
Seems the Webstart on the Install disk has many problems.
I must mention that my Solaris 8 disks are Feb 2000 Revision A,
so this problem may have been fixed in a later release. Anyone?
