Thanks for all the suggestions. It seems as though the consensus would be to just rebuild the server, which is actually what the client wanted to do (their IT staff needs the experience on Solaris). Also, I wanted to point out, some people said all you have to do is edit the /etc/vfstab file. That is not the case, and it will not work (that was what we originally tried to do - I think I stated that in the original e-mail).
Anyway, most people suggested copying the /usr files to a temporary directory (or the /user directory), boot off of CD to single user mode, and then change the mount point of /user to /usr and reboot (or something along those lines).
