Original Message:
I've got an interesting problem regarding rlogin &
displaying a warning message before login. Here's the criteria: Enterprise
3000, Solaris 2.6 Patch version 105181-19. I have a warning message in
/etc/issue. That message displays great when I telnet to the server, if I
rlogin to the server I only get a password prompt, no message, if I don't
put in the correct password I get the message. I need this message
displayed with rlogin & rsh.
Does anybody have any idea how to solve this problem?

Hello,
Try copying /etc/issue to /etc/motd.

I think your message needs to be in /etc/motd.

Thanks for responses. The /etc/motd will display the
message, but I really needed it to be before logon. If I find a solution
I'll email it out.
